Barrow stalwart Liam Harrison is very pleased with the way the Raiders’ squad is shaping up, after the group underwent their first preseason session with coach Paul Crarey this week.

New signings such as Oliver Wilkes and Martin Aspinwall were at the sesssion, along with more familiar faces, and some talented local amateurs.

“We did the hard work on the pitch but we also had a good laugh and it was good to meet up with the new lads,” Harrison told the North West Evening Mail.

“There was a great mix of experienced lads and some good local amateurs and it was nice to get our first session in.”
