Harrison builds Batley squad

Batley coach Karl Harrison has been busy building his squad for 2010, including the signings of Tommy Gallagher and Sean Hesketh.

Back-rower Gallagher spent last season at Rochdale following spells at Widnes and Hull KR and moves to Mount Pleasant for a second spell.

He is joined by York prop Hesketh, 22, who started 2009 at Featherstone. Harrison repotedly beat off competition from several clubs to add muscle to the Bulldogs pack.

Batley have also signed young three-quarter Eddie Kilroy from the Bradford Bulls academy, as well as retaining existing first teamers Ian Preece, Craig Potter, Chris Buttery, Ash Lindsay, Jonny Campbell and David Tootill.
