Hall keen to see McNamara carry on with England

Leeds winger Ryan Hall wants Steve McNamara to remain in place as national team coach, after he led England to a 2-1 series victory over New Zealand.

That was McNamara’s first silverware as England coach, and Hall insists that the former Bradford coach is the right man to carry on.

“I have always enjoyed my time under Steve,” Hall said, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“He has shown great faith in me, I think he has played me in every game he’s had the opportunity to.

“Finally we’ve got something to show for it at the end of his term. Hopefully, he will want to carry that momentum on.”
