Griffin becomes a Red Devil

Salford Red Devils have confirmed that Josh Griffin has joined them until the end of the season.

The three-quarter has most recently been in action for Batley Bulldogs this season. He has also played rugby union for Leeds Carnegie.

The 24-year-old has been training with Salford for the last four weeks. He will be in contention for a place in the squad for the weekend’s game against Castleford Tigers, another of his former clubs, for whom he scored 14 tries in 21 games in 2012.

He is the brother of prop Darrell Griffin, also currently at Salford. He can play on the wing or in the centres.
