Both players are now considering their options for next season.
“I would like thank both Grant and Dec for their efforts in the Widnes Vikings jersey,” said Widnes coach Denis Betts.
“It has been a pleasure working with them both. I wish them all the very best for the future.”
Gore added: “I have loved every minute playing for the Vikings. As a kid all I wanted to do was play Super League.
“My time at the Vikings has allowed me to achieve that goal. While things have not worked out 100 per cent as I would have liked and I am not going to play for the Vikings for the rest of my career, I am grateful to everyone at the club for the opportunities I have been given.
“Having had such a great experience at Widnes Vikings I will be a supporter of the club in the future and I really hope to see the club challenging at the top.”
Hulme added: “I am grateful for my time at the club. I understand that I need a change and more game time to develop my game further. I hope to have next year sorted in the coming weeks.”
