Former Bradford and Wakefield back-rower Glenn Morrison has been named as the new coach of Championship side Dewsbury.

Morrison, 36, had been on the coaching staff at the Wildcats since hanging up his boots in November 2011.

He was assistant to head coach Richard Agar, and also head coach of the under 20s academy side.

The former Parramatta Eels man also helped out with the Exiles squad for this season’s International Origin.

Dewsbury have also announced that full-back James Craven has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
