Giants to loan St Helens youngster

Huddersfield Giants have confirmed that Scott Moore will join the club in 2009, after agreeing a one-year loan deal with Super League leaders St Helens. nnThe 20-year-old hooker is currently on a season-long loan at Castleford Tigers, and has found it difficult to force his way into the Saints first team ahead of Great Britain internationals Keiron Cunningham and James Roby. nnHowever, St Helens Chairman Eamonn McManus said that this is the perfect situation for the youngster. nn”Scott is continuing to develop,” said McManus. nn”However, he knows that appearances at the Saints will be limited next season – especially under the continued form of James Roby.n n”Both parties felt the best way forward was for him to continue to learn his trade by regularly playing for another Super League Club.”n nHe added: “Scott is still very much in our plans for the future and we look forward to watching him develop further.”nnMoore made his senior debut for Saints in 2004, becoming the youngest player in Super League. nnHe has represented England at Under-15, 16 and 17 level and has made 15 appearances for Super League side Castleford Tigers this season.
