Huddersfield’s John Skandalis may miss the remainder of the Super League season after suffering a knee injury.nnThe prop forward, 32, underwent surgery on Monday, after picking up the injury in a training session.nnJoint caretaker coach Keiron Purtill admitted the signs are ominous for his influential prop.nn”It really isn’t looking very good for John,” Purtill said.nn”We’re waiting for the specialist to get back to us so we know exactly how much damage there is but he has already been told it’s highly unlikely he’ll play again this season,” he added.nnFront rower Eorl Crabtree is another key forward recently consigned to the treatment table with a fractured finger, and is sidelined for up to a month.nnIt’s not all bad news at the Galpharm Stadium, though. Prop Paul Jackson may be available for the visit of Bradford on Sunday, while skipper Chris Thorman, out of the last two games with ankle trouble, has confirmed he will be fit for the same game.nnStand-off Kevin Brown will also be available for selection, following a two-match ban for an incident in the 28-26 defeat at Wakefield two weeks ago.
