Toulouse centre Gavin Marguerite has signed a new one-year deal with the Championship club.

The 22-year-old linked up with Olympique’s first-team back in 2016 when he signed his first ever professional contract.

Marguerite has scored nine tries in 20 games for Sylvain Houles’ side this term.

On his contract extension, he said: “I am very happy to continue my adventure with this club.

“I am really motivated to go for Super League next season with the TO.”

Toulouse chairman Bernard Sarrazain added: “It’s a great achievement to see players like Gavin who, after going through the club’s youth ranks, are shining with the professional team.

“I am confident that Gavin will be those who will be able to represent the TO in Super League.”
