Gareth Widdop picks up training injury

Warrington Wolves have confirmed that marquee signing Gareth Widdop has picked up a lower limb injury in training.

Widdop, 30, joined Warrington on a three-year deal, and the club has confirmed that the half-back has rolled his ankle that will likely see him miss action until round four.

Warrington travel to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Warriors in the opening fixture of the 2020 Super League season on Thursday, January 30.
