Four players charged from Leigh v Bradford clash

Leigh Centurions and Bradford Bulls players are facing the fall-out from the two clubs’ intense encounter last weekend.

Four players from the two teams have been charged with striking offences.

Danny Williams of Bradford has been charged with Grade C repeated punching in the 20th minute of the game.

Leigh’s Adam Higson has also been charged with Grade C punching in the 20th minute.

Tommy Goulden of Leigh has been charged with Grade C running in and punching in the 20th minute,  while Harry Siejka of Bradford has been charged with Grade C reckless striking in the 27th minute.

The players were charged after the incidents were considered by the RFL Match Review Panel on Thursday.

All four have until 11am on Tuesday February 24 to submit Early Guilty Pleas.
