Four Super League players have tested positive following this week’s Covid-19 tests.

Two players from Wakefield have tested positive, as announced earlier this week, leading to the postponement of their fixture against Leeds which had been scheduled for September 3.

The third was from a Warrington Wolves player, following their second set of tests this week, conducted on Thursday morning.

Warrington are set to still face Hull FC on Friday night, September 4, despite seven players standing down due to the track and trace.

In addition, one St Helens player, who was not involved in their game against Hull KR last weekend, received a positive result after showing Covid-19 symptoms on Wednesday and will self-isolate for 10 days.
