Luke Dorn has signed a one-year contract extension at Castleford Tigers, and is set to stay at the club until the end of the 2016 season.

The 32-year-old full-back is very pleased to have extended his second spell at the club.

“I am very excited and pleased to have it confirmed,” he said.

“I am enjoying my time at Cas and it was a no brainer for me.

“I am just excited that I will continue to be part of what we have created here for another year.”

Castleford head coach Daryl Powell is also delighted that such a reliable player has committed his immediate future to the Tigers.

“I’m delighted that Luke Dorn has agreed to stay at the club for another year,” he said.

“He has shown again this season what a pivotal figure he is for the team when he’s playing well and I’m sure he will continue to do that for the next twoyears at least.

“His speed in attack has been outstanding and his voice within the group has been a big contributing factor to our improvement as a team.”
