Leeds winger Scott Donald has been forced to pull out of tonight’s competition to find Rugby League’s Fastest Man after picking up a groin strain in training.

The Australian was one of the favorites to take the honours in the twelve man race, which will take place at tonight’s Carnegie 9s tournament, but will now be replaced by young Academy winger Jamel Chisholm.

Jamel has been playing for the Gillette Academy U18’s side this season, and has been one of the team’s most exciting players, scoring 4 tries in 9 appearances.

Rhinos Head Coach Brian McClennan said, “We are disappointed that Scott is unable to compete in tonight’s race but we have a very capable replacement in Jamel Chisholm, who is the fastest player at the club. Jamel has been playing extremely well for the U18s and we feel he is the next best candidate after Scott to represent the club in this competition.”
