Crusaders add Bate to their squad

North Wales Crusaders have confirmed the signing of Joe Bate until the end of the 2017 season.

The prop forward has spent time at Rochdale Hornets and St’ Helens academy before joining the Crusaders.

Head coach Mike Grady said: “Joe is a fantastic lad and he’ll bring some good experience into the side.

“With the injuries we’ve had, and still have to several members of the side, Joe will also add some much needed strength in depth in the prop position.

“He’s happy to be here and has trained well on Tuesday.”

The Crusaders have a busy few weeks ahead starting this Saturday with a league clash away to Gloucestershire All Golds.
