Wales international winger Elliot Kear has penned a new one-year contract extension with Bradford.

Kear, 24, is now committed to the Provident Stadium until the end of 2015.

Coach Francis Cummins said: “Elliot has done fantastically well this year and is continuing to improve.

“His performances in the World Cup have been most impressive and I expected as much after such a good season in Super League for him.

“We felt is was important to secure his services for another year, but the extended deal is really a reward for Elliot.”

Kear joined the Bulls from Crusaders ahead of the 2012 season, and played in all 27 of Bradford’s Super League games in 2013.

He said: “I am over the moon with the extension as it gives me a bit more security. I love the Bulls and it was a dream for me when I first came here.

“I am settled here now and am really enjoying myself, so I’m delighted to sign for another year.”
