Clubb and O’Loughlin set for Wigan return

Wigan coach Shaun Wane has revealed that Tony Clubb and Sean O’Loughlin have recovered from injury and will be considered for selection next week.

O’Loughlin has been absent recently with a hamstring injury, while Clubb has been sidelined for the last three months with a neck problem.

Both could return to the squad for next Thursday’s clash with Widnes.

“It’s going to be great to have those two players coming back in,” Wane said, according to Wigantoday.net.

“One area we do need to be stronger in is the middles, and ‘Clubby’ and ‘Lockers’ will improve us.

“Obviously Clubby has not played in a while but he has been training really hard and I’ve no doubts he’ll be ready to go.”
