Chase has visa approved for Salford switch

New Salford signing Rangi Chase has had his visa application approved by the UK Border Agency.

Chase, 27, is joining the Red Devils after five seasons with Castleford, but there had been some speculation about his visa, after issues prevented a move to Hull mid-way through the 2012 season.

The Kiwi-born England international was one of 12 new signings unveiled by Salford at a special event last week.

He will link-up with his new team-mates when they return to pre-season at the end of October, subject to his involvement in the World Cup.
