Chase ban lifted

Castleford half-back Rangi Chase has had his suspension lifted by the club.

Chase, 26, has been heavily linked with a move away from the PROBIZ Coliseum, but will return to first team training tomorrow, and will be available for selection for the Tigers’ next Super League game against Warrington.

The England international said: “I would like to apologise to my team mates, coaching staff, the club and our fans for my behaviour on this occasion and am very sorry for any negative impact this may have had.”

He was suspended by the club, on full pay, following an alcohol related incident and non-attendance at training sessions.
