Chase and Diskin charged

Castleford’s Rangi Chase and Bradford hooker Matt Diskin will appear before the RFL after being charged with offences committed over the weekend.

Half-back Chase has been charged with a Grade B punching offence which occurred in the eighth minute of Castleford’s 34-30 victory over Bradford Bulls on Sunday.

Bradford hooker Matt Diskin has been charged with a Grade B offence for using his knees on Castleford’s Richard Owen in the 29th minute of the same contest.

The Match Review Panel also issued formal cautions to the following players:

Mark O’Meley (Hull FC) – Dangerous contact on Salford City Reds player Luke Patten in the third minute.

Patrick Ah Van (Bradford Bulls) – Dangerous Contact on Castleford TigersPaul Jackson in the 55th minute.

Francis Meli (St Helens) – Dangerous contact on Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ Luke George in the 38th minute.

Julien Rinaldi (Wakefield) – Dangerous contact on St Helens player Jon Wilkin in the 56th minute.

The cautions will remain on the players’ record and could be considered in the event of future disciplinary breaches.
