Premier Sports Performance of the Week – Gloucestershire All Golds

Mark Barlow, Tyla Hepi, Phil Cowburn and Richard Jones will go down as the try-scorers in Gloucestershire All Golds’ first ever win in semi-professional Rugby League.

The All Golds produced a stirring display, led by prop forward Hepi, to record a 20-18 victory against Oxford.

Gloucestershire’s Iffley Road success came in dramatic fashion, with the All Golds always chasing the game until Jones’ 79th-minute try.

Premier Sports Try of the Week – Richard Jones (Gloucestershire All Golds)

Second-row Richard Jones crashed over in the 79th minute to secure a first ever Kingstone Press Championship One victory for Gloucestershire All Golds.

Jones barged through Oxford‘s left-sided defence, before stretching out his ball-carrying arm to give Brad Hepi‘s men their first league win in 10 attempts.

The All Golds, who are playing their debut season in the semi-professional ranks, will now hope to secure back-to-back victories when they face South Wales Scorpions on Sunday.
