Toulouse Olympique forward Lambert Belmas has received a lengthy seven-match suspension following an investigation and tribunal into an alleged attack to the testicles.

The incident occurred during the Championship clash with Bradford earlier on February 25 at Odsal Stadium.

A statement from the Rugby Football League read: “Toulouse Olympique’s Lambert Belmas has been suspended for seven matches, following an investigation and tribunal hearing into an alleged Grade F attack to the testicles of a Bradford Bulls player during the 25 February Betfred Championship match at Odsal.”

Bradford claimed a 28-18 home victory on the day over promotion-chasers Toulouse, with tries from George Flanagan Sr, Joe Arundel, Liam Tindall and AJ Wallace.

Sylvain Houles’ French outfit sit second in the Championship table, having picked up five wins from seven so far in 2023.
