The 2018 Challenge Cup semi-final draw has been made and they are interesting ties.

The draw took place live on BBC Two at the Totally Wicked Stadium after St Helens’ 25-22 victory over Hull FC.

Belle Voci, who are set to perform ‘Abide with Me’ at this year’s Challenge Cup final at Wembley, conducted the draw. Emily selected the home balls while Sophie drew the away balls.

Current Super League leaders St Helens were drawn against Catalans Dragons, who beat Huddersfield Giants in the quarter-final to progress.

Warrington Wolves were drawn against Leeds Rhinos in the other semi-final fixture.

The semi-finals will be played for the first time as a double header at Macron Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers FC, on Sunday, August 5.

Both games will be shown live on BBC Sport. Kick-off times will be announced in due course.
