Challenge Cup results round-up

Oulton Raiders, Shaw Cross and Distington are among the clubs to have booked their spot in the second round of the Challenge Cup after securing victories this weekend.

Oulton defeated East Leeds in a convincing 32-0 result while Shaw Cross edged London Chargers 22-14.

Hunslet Club Parkside beat Thatto Heath 23-16, Northumbria University won 42-16 against Aberdeen Warriors and Pilkington Recs got past Stanningley 28-16.

Distington defeated Normanton Knights 31-18, Lock Lane got one over West Bowling 16-0 and Underbank Rangers were too good for Leigh Miners Rangers, winning 20-14.

Also moving into the next round is Millom, 32-14 against University of Hull, Featherstone Lions 20-18 Royal Navy, Rochdale Mayfield 38-20 Widnes West Bank, Wath Brow Hornets 26-4 Royal Air Force, Hull Dockers 8-6 Thornhill Trojans, Ergremont Rnagers 64-0 Blue Bulls, Kells 30-0 Nottingham Outlaws and York Acorn, who defeated Sharlston Rovers 36-10.
