Centurion Armstrong in injury blow

Leigh have suffered another player injury with Tom Armstrong believed to have broken his wrist.

The centre hurt his wrist in Sunday’s victory over Oldham. Armstrong is to undergo scans to confirm the exact nature of the injury.

The 26-year old picked up the knock in the first half against the Roughyeds but played on with it.

Leigh already have fullback Greg McNally and centre Willie Tonga sidelined, among others.

Armstrong, who broke into Super League with St Helens in 2009, has been with the Centurions for the past two seasons.
