Sam Tomkins returns for the Dragons

Sam Tomkins returns to the Catalans squad for their home Super League clash with Wigan on Saturday.

The England international full-back missed the side’s win over Warrington at the Halliwell Jones Stadium last week. Mitchell Pearce crossed for his first try for the club.

Tomkins returns to Steve McNamara’s squad for the visit of his former club, Wigan.

Dean Whare and Joe Chan are also back in Catalans squad.

Back from suspension, Micky McIlorum and Gil Dudson have also been named in the 21-Man squad. Hooker McIlorum was charged a Grade A Careless High Tackle following the club’s victory over Leeds two weeks ago.

Wigan remain unchanged

Matt Peet has named an unchanged 21-man squad following their close victory over Toulouse.

Wigan had to battle all the way to win the first game of their mini Tour de France, coming from 18-10 behind to scrape to victory in Toulouse via a last-minute Harry Smith drop goal.

Captain Thomas Leuluai will return to the team for this weekend’s Super League clash against Catalans.

Leuluai, 36, was rested for Saturday’s tie but coach Matt Peet said he will be back for the match in Perpignan.

Catalans: Davies, Langi, Whare, Yaha, Pearce, Drinkwater, Dudson, McIlorum, Whitley, McMeeken, Garcia, Da Costa, Jullien, Seguier, Goudemand, Romano, May, Dezaria, Chan, Kasiano, Tomkins.

Wigan: Bibby, Hardaker, Marshall, Cust, Leuluai, Singleton, Powell, Mago, Isa, Farrell, Bateman, Smithies, Ellis, Smith, Partington, Byrne, Pearce-Paul, Shorrocks, Miski, O’Neill.
