Catalans have handed contracts to four young players from their academy system.

Corentin Le Cam, Mathieu Cozza, Joe Chan and Mathieu Laguerre, who were playing for the Dragons reserve side St Esteve in the French Elite 1 Championship, have all signed new two-and-a-half year deals.

Coach Steve McNamara said: “All four have shown a great attitude and commitment over a sustained period of time and fully deserve their opportunity to be part of our full time squad.

“They have added quality to our training sessions and bring a new and youthful dynamic to our squad.”

The quartet joined up with the Catalans first team when training restarted ahead of the return of Super League.
