Castleford have made Steve Gill chief executive on a permanent basis, while re-structuring their commercial team.

Gill, 53, has held the role on an interim basis since the resignation of Steve Ferres earlier in the season, and the club also lost commercial manager Nick Fozzard shortly after.

Castleford chairman Jack Fulton said: “I am determined to turn the fortunes of this club around and believe that will happen under the tenure of Steve Gill.

“He is a Castleford man through and through who is dedicated and devoted to leading the club to a bright future.”

The Tigers have appointed Mark Grattan as commercial director, Richard Pell as commercial manager and Sally Jackson as membership manager.
