Carlile chasing Sheffield consistency for Qualifiers

Sheffield Eagles hooker Keal Carlile is hoping that his team can bounce back from their opening Qualifiers defeat at Bradford.

The Eagles face Widnes in their second game of this stage of the season, and Carlile is confident that the men from the Steel City can bounce back and improve.

“We have shown throughout the season what we can do and what we are about,” he told his club’s official website.

“However we can be on and then off again. We’ve lacked that bit of consistency throughout the season, but like I said if we can come together, stay tight and hopefully we can give Widnes a good game.

“From now on we have to pull together as a group again after this loss.

“We have to re-group because we’re going to Widnes next week. They’re a Super League outfit and things won’t get any easier.”
