Sydney Roosters bounced back from their opening round defeat against the Rabbitohs to defeat Canberra 28-4.

Anthony Minichiello’s score saw the Roosters ahead by just one try at the half-time break but tries from Shaun Kenny-Dowall, the elusive Mitchell Pearce and a brace from Braith Anasta helped the visitors race out to a 28-0 lead.

Bronson Harrison was on hand finish off Adrian Purtell’s break for the Raiders’ only try and indeed their only points.
