Campese wants Hull KR to impress TV viewers

Hull KR stand-off Terry Campese is looking for a good start from his team when they face St Helens at home on Friday evening.

The Sky TV cameras will be at the KC Lightstream Stadium for the first time this season, and Campese would like to impress the watching public.

“It’s our first time on TV and we are at home,” the Australian told the Hull Daily Mail.

“We have a lot to play for and we have to play from the first whistle to the final hooter if we are to get the win.

“We have a big week ahead of us to prepare for the game.

“We didn’t play our best rugby in the first half against Widnes.

“That’s how we have started most games this season and we really need to fix that.

“Obviously, the better teams in this league will punish us more than the others.

“Credit to the players because we fought back in the second half and almost stole the points at the end. If we could start better, we wouldn’t have to claw our way back like we’ve been forced to.”
