Winger Jake Butler-Fleming will make a surprise appearance for Hull KR in their pre-season friendly against city rivals Hull FC this weekend.

Butler-Fleming, 26, left Craven Park to join York on a permanent basis over the close season, but it has been revealed that he can be dual-registered to the Robins to take part in reserve or friendly fixtures.

The former Penrith Panthers junior scored five tries in nine appearances for Hull KR last season, before ending the campaign on loan with the City Knights.

He has been named in Tim Sheens’ squad for the Clive Sullivan Trophy match.

France international Nabil Djalout is also included as his trial with the club continues, as is academy forward Adam Rooks.

Hull coach Lee Radford has named a 23-man squad that includes Danny Houghton, Marc Sneyd and Jake Connor.
