Burgess grabs magic point for Wigan

Joe Burgess bagged a last-minute try to secure a 24-24 draw for Wigan against Warrington at Magic Weekend on Saturday.

Liam Marshall’s hat-trick helped Wigan to an 18-6 lead, but tries by Stefan Ratchford and Tom Lineham brought Warrington within two.

Jack Hughes edged Wolves in front, before Burgess crossed late in the game to grab a share of the spoils for the Warriors.

The result leaves Wigan sixth in the table, four points ahead of eighth-placed Warrington.
