Burgess cautioned for high tackle

Leeds Rhinos prop Luke Burgess has received a formal caution for dangerous play in his team’s Engage Super League Round 23 victory against Salford City Reds at The Willows.

Burgess was cautioned for a high-tackle on Adam Neal in the 29th minute of Sunday’s 30-22 victory by the Rhinos.

The caution was issued following a meeting of the RFL’s Match Review Panel earlier today and will remain on the player’s disciplinary record for consideration in the event of future incidents.
