Bradford have signed promising teenager Marcus Elliott on a two-year deal from Leeds Rhinos.

Elliott, 17, has been at Headingley for the past two years but has chosen to move to the Grattan Stadium to further his rugby league development.

Bulls Head of Youth Development, Paul Medley said: “Stand Off is a position in which we were short last season in both the Academy and Under 20’s and we are delighted to have signed such a high quality player.  We feel Marcus has all the attributes to go a long way in the game and we are delighted he is coming to Bradford.”

Elliott added: “I was offered another contract by Leeds but after speaking to Paul Medley and Stu Barrow, hearing their ambitions for the Club and looking round the superb Training Centre at Tong School, I had no hesitation in joining the Bulls and I am really looking forward to starting pre season training with them.”
