Bulls add Sibbit

Bradford have continued their re-building for 2011 with the signing of Salford centre Ian Sibbit.

Sibbit, 29, has played in the NRL with Melbourne Storm and has also had two spells at Warrington.

He has signed a two-year deal with Bradford, and expressed his delight at the move.

“It’s a great move for me at this stage in my career. I’ve been at Salford for a long time and I was ready for a change so I really couldn’t have made a better move.

“It came out of the blue but as soon as Bradford came in for me I was ready to sign. I didn’t even have to really think about it. When a club like Bradford comes in for you it’s not a difficult decision to make and I can’t wait to get started.”

Bulls have already signed a raft of new players for next season, including Chev Walker and Shaun Ainscough, as they look to re-build under incoming head coach Mick Potter after a disappointing season.

CEO Ryan Duckett said: “We are delighted to have added Ian to our squad.  He is a very experienced player who will add greatly to the depth of our squad for the next two years. It has been our intentions to increase the size of the squad and the competition for places next year and Ian fits the bill perfectly.”
