Brown and Runciman to miss Warrington game

Widnes will be without Kevin Brown, Charly Runciman and Hep Cahill for the derby clash with Warrington on Friday.

All three are unvailable after pulling up in training with minor injuries.

Widnes say the players will be assessed over the weekend to determine their availability for the Easter Monday clash with St Helens at the Select Security Stadium.

It is a blow for the Vikings with the trio in great form. Tom Gilmore is expected to partner Joe Mellor in the halves.

Patrick Ah Van makes a return whilst Sam Brookes and Ed Chamberlain appear in the 19 man squad for the first time this season.
