Warrington’s Lee Briers and Catalan’s Eloi Pelissier have both avoided suspension after submitting early guilty pleas to the RFL disciplinary panel.

It means Briers is free to play in the Wolves’ play-off semi-final next Thursday, following the Grade A charge for an incident with Leeds forward Carl Ablett.

Pelissier, who was charged after appearing to stand on Aaron Heremaia‘s leg during the Dragons’ 14-4 defeat to Hull, was also handed a Grade A charge, with an early guilty plea enabling him to avoid a ban.
