Bradford’s new coaches get ready to face Workington

Bradford Bulls head into this game with a new coaching team of Matt Diskin and Chev Walker, who have taken over the reins following the departure of James Lowes from the club.

Their weekend opponents Workington Town, who did not play last week, have won only once all season and are currently propping up the Championship table.

Town coach Phil Veivers hopes that the break has refreshed his players.

“It’s been a positive for us, we’ve got a few more players back and we’ve had two good weeks of training,” he said.

“Bradford played very well against Dewsbury last time out. They’re a handful, they’ve got quality players right across the board and we’ll have to be up at the top part of our game to be in with a shout.”

Second row Jarrard Stack and centre Perry Whiteley return to the squad, and there is also a possibility that back rower Alex Szostak and winger Sam Forrester could play.
