Bradford up for Centurions challenge

Bradford coach Rohan Smith says the Bulls know the threats and talents Leigh possess and his team are ready for the challenge.

The Bulls are aiming to get back into the top four with a win against the Centurions on Sunday.

Bradford slipped out of the Middle 8s spots after a 24-32 loss to Halifax last weekend, and rugby betting lines are questioning whether they’ll even have a shot at making a return to Super League.

“The boys had a pretty honest chat on Monday about our performance against Halifax and from then it has been about moving forward and getting on with the job,” Smith said.

“We know the threats and the talents that Leigh have and it is the type of game the boys really want to put their hands up for and be selected.

“We are looking for the same enthusiasm from the Summer Bash game all the time. Sometimes against the top teams it is easy to create that energy because you know you have to.

“In patches last weekend I thought we had that, but we weren’t able to sustain it and that is the big challenge this week.

“It wouldn’t matter where we are in the table, we are solely focussed on doing everything we can to get the result, but more importantly to perform well and go through the process of performing well, and usually the scoreboard will then take care of itself, if you perform well.”
