Catalan half-back Thomas Bosc has signed a new one-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.

Bosc, 31, was a member of the Dragons squad in their inaugural season in Super League in 2006, and has gone to score 1028 points in 165 appearances.

He said: “I’m really happy to sign a new contract with the club I’m playing since 2006.”

“We’ll celebrate in 2015 the tenth season of the Dragons in Super League and I’m really proud to be a part of it.”

“I’m happy and very grateful for the opportunity the club’s given me over many years and I want to do my best to repay the faith they showed in me.”

“When I look back, I’m really proud of what we achieved since the beginning.”

The France international is the club’s record point scorer and this season became the first player to reach 1000 points.

Coach Laurent Frayssinous said: “It’s a great news to keep Thomas at the club.

“He is a key player in the team and his experience, his knowledge of the game and the club and his qualities on and off the field will be valuable in the squad.

“I was important to me to know I could rely on him for the seasons to come.”
