Betts believes Bridge adds strike power to Vikings

Widnes coach Denis Betts is delighted to have added Chris Bridge to his squad’s ranks for next season.

Betts thinks that Bridge’s versatility and experience adds to the attacking potential of his group of players.

“Chris is a great squad acquisition for us,” he said.

“He can strike and score tries. He has some valuable experience playing in Challenge Cup finals and Grand Finals.

“He knows how to close out big games and tight games and has a fantastic ‘big game mentality’.

“Chris’s experience will serve to strengthen our squad. It is really exciting for the Vikings to have someone of Chris’ quality joining our ranks.”
