Batley Bulldogs players will be sporting a specially designed shirt at Sunday’s Northern Rail Cup Final against Widnes Vikings in Blackpool.

The new jersey features the names of all 22 players to have played a part in their  Northern Rail Cup campaign which has seen the West Yorkshire club reach its first major final for 58 years.

“We wanted to do something special,” explained Batley’s President Ron Earnshaw “It’s a shirt that’s already proving very popular with supporters.

“We are officially launching the shirt at Batley Irish Democratic League Club on Friday evening from 7.30pm.”
