Drew Darbyshire

Batley have signed back-rower Lucas Walshaw from rivals Dewsbury for 2020.

The 27-year-old started his career in Super League with Wakefield before moving to Bradford and then Dewsbury.

Walshaw has made more than 70 appearances for the Rams in the Championship.

He will link up with Craig Lingard’s squad when the Bulldogs return for pre-season training.

Walshaw has made almost 150 career appearances and will add a wealth of experience to Batley.
