Toulouse centre Bastien Ader has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 28-year-old arrived at Toulouse from St Gaudens in 2011, where he has gone on to score 76 tries in 157 matches for the club.

Ader has earned five caps for France on the international stage, scoring four tries.

He said: “I am very happy to stay at the club, and after this frustrating season [with injury], I can’t wait for the Championship to start and do my best to help reach the goal of the team, which is reaching the Super League.”

Toulouse chairman Bernard Sarrazain added: “The journey of Bastien to the club is an example for all young people and I am very happy that he continues the adventure with us.”
