Catalan centre Jean-Philippe Baile has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an arm injury.

Baile, 25, suffered a ruptured bicep during last Saturday’s game against London Broncos, and underwent surgery on the injury on Monday, ahead of a lengthy rehabilitation programme.

The France international has been restricted to six Super League appearances this season, but has made more than 70 appearances for the Dragons since making his debut in 2008.

Carcassonne-born, Baile represented France at the 2008 World Cup, and can also cover in the back-row.
