Anderson, Walne and Cook banned

The RFL have confirmed that Louis Anderson of Catalans Dragons has been suspended for two matches by an independent disciplinary tribunal.

This comes after a charge of Grade C kicking out at Wigan Warriors player Sam Powell in the Super 8s fixture played on Saturday.

Anderson pleaded guilty and was also fined £300.

Adam Walne of Salford Red Devils has been suspended for one match for Grade A striking with the knee on Halifax player Mitch Cahalane in the fixture played on Saturday September 5.

Walne also pleaded guilty, and was fined £300.

Matt Cook of Castleford Tigers has been banned for one match after a Grade B reckless strike with the shoulder on Huddersfield Giants player Luke Robinson in the  fixture played on Thursday September 3.

Cook also pleaded guilty, and was fined £100.

Grant Gore of Whitehaven submitted an Early Guilty (EGP) for a Grade A charge of foul language in his team’s game against Hunselt.

He has lost the right to submit an EGP for next 12 months.
