Anderson looking forward to Giants’ clash with Catalans

Huddersfield have confirmed that they will face Catalans Dragons in a preseason friendly at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday January 23.

Giants coach Paul Anderson believes that the French outfit will provide his team with the perfect test ahead of the 2016 season.

“We’ve an awful lot of work to do before then of course,” he told the Giants’ official website.

“The Dragons will be ideal opposition for us to see where we are physically just a fortnight out from the opening weekend, as well as looking at our team shape and movement.

“Playing at home too will be good for us as we’ve a number of lads who will be new to the stadium and we’ve not yet trained there either.”
