All Golds look for McCormack successor

James Gordon

Gloucestershire All Golds are on the look-out for a new head coach for the 2015 season to replace Steve McCormack.

McCormack, the Scotland national team coach, has been in charge since May, but that arrangement will change at the end of this year as he steps back to an advisory role.

He said: “I’m really enjoying my time with the All Golds and we’re in a great place in the league.

“I’m sure we’ll perform well in the remaining games and be in with a shout for the play offs but long term I am convinced that the club needs a coach who can cover more time than I am able to. There are BUCS teams and a thriving Academy and we really need a coach working full time on these areas.

“I’m looking forward to continuing in an advisory role with the club and I’m convinced we can continue the success we’ve enjoyed so far this season.”

The All Golds are now welcoming expressions of interest and applications to be made to their CEO, Rob Webber (rwebber@glos.ac.uk).
