Abram moves to Whitehaven

Whitehaven have confirmed the signing of former Barrow Raiders half-back Dan Abram on a one-year contract.

Abram has spent the last two seasons at Cumbrian rivals Barrow, scoring six tries in 29 appearances.

He is still only young and came through the ranks at St Helens.

And Abram said he is made up to join League 1 side Haven.

He said: “I’m buzzing to have signed for such a great club that have a real strong fan base.

“I jumped at the opportunity when Carl got in touch and I can’t wait to play my part in what will be a tough but exciting season.”
